abrdn’s Airport Industrial Property Unit Trust (AIPUT) has recently celebrated two significant construction milestones with the completion of phase II of its flagship project, dnata City East – a 360,000 sq. ft cargo-processing warehouse campus, located opposite Heathrow’s Cargo Terminal. The new campus significantly strengthens the nation’s critical logistic infrastructure and will ensure high-value time-critical products are moved quicker, safer and more sustainably.
As works on dnata City East completed, construction began on Black Arrow, AIPUT’s exciting new 27,760 sq. ft HQ warehouse facility on the Poyle industrial estate, near Heathrow. The facility will feature cutting-edge technology and push the ESG boundaries of industrial property development, with roof-mounted photovoltaic panels, high-efficiency LED lighting and use of LZC [low-to-zero carbon] technologies throughout.
