This December, to mark the end of a successful year at Apo Kew Bridge, The Communication Group plc coordinated a large celebration event for our client, residential management company Apo Group Ltd, and their development partner, EcoWorld. The ‘Kew Bridge Christmas Fete’, held at Kew Bridge, activated a large communal plaza with a vibrant programme of entertainment, engaging with the resident communities across both developments and collaborating with local schools and community groups to generate festive buzz at this thriving new neighbourhood.
The event included live music from brass bands and carol singers, choral performances from two local schools, tasty street food, a craft market of independent traders, a series of fire shows, roaming Ice Queen, decorating sessions led by Kew Gardens and a pop-up Santa’s Grotto. Over 400 guests attended, with the event fostering community spirit among residents whilst also attracting new footfall from visitors.
Apo Kew Bridge, the brand-new rental scheme wrapped around the Gtech Community Stadium [home to Brentford FC and London Irish] contains 487 thoughtfully-designed apartments, as well as a collection of generous, well-equipped amenity spaces including co-working spaces, lounges, communal kitchens, gym and rooftop terraces. Organised end-to-end by The Communication Group plc, the Kew Bridge Christmas Fete was a strong placemaking initiative designed to increase local awareness of the development within the community and further establish Apo’s growing reputation as a market leader, providing modern rental neighbourhoods where people want to live.
