Riverscape hosts the Royal Docks Vision Event to unveil new research and announce The Forshaw

Recently, waterfront development Riverscape hosted the Royal Docks Vision Event, inviting local stakeholders, business owners, residents, and members of the public to an exciting panel talk where new JLL research into the ongoing regeneration of the Royal Docks was unveiled.

Chaired by Prudence Ivey, Homes & Property Editor of the Evening Standard, the panel included a line-up of industry experts including Marcus Dixon (Head of UK Residential Research, JLL), Sean Collins (CEO, Uber Boat by Thames Clippers), Daniel Bridge (Programme Director, Royal Docks), and Roger Black (Creative Director, Ballymore). Key findings of the new JLL research were unveiled, identifying the Royal Docks as one of the UK’s youngest and fastest growing boroughs, and one where house prices are set to increase by 19% over the next five years.

The panellists provided fascinating insight into the Royal Docks’ evolution into London’s most ambitious regeneration area and its only Enterprise Zone, as well as post-pandemic changes to how we live and work, the importance of transport and connectivity, the impact of cultural programming across the Royal Docks, and how new homes in the area are being designed to improve residents’ quality of life. The event also marked the launch of The Forshaw building at Riverscape, which will offer 82 new apartments over 16 storeys directly overlooking Lyle Park. Apartments in The Forshaw will offer river and park views, expansive balconies, and flexible layouts ready to accommodate modern life. Coverage of the research and The Forshaw launch was secured in titles including Evening Standard and popular Canary Wharf and Docklands publication Wharf Life.

The Communication Group plc coordinated this event end-to-end, which successfully established Ballymore and Oxley’s Riverscape development as a key pillar in the wider regeneration story of London’s historic Royal Docks, with the research further positioning Riverscape as the perfect opportunity to invest in one of the capital’s youngest, fasting-growing, and most ambitious new communities.
