Innovative industrial platform Greenbox recently announced Wolseley as the first occupier of Greenbox Darlington, a North-East industrial development at the forefront of sustainable logistics. As one of the UK’s leading merchants in plumbing, heating, cooling, and infrastructure, Wolseley’s move into Greenbox Darlington marks a significant milestone for Greenbox, an ESG-led platform committed to delivering energy-efficient logistics space.
Completed in March 2025, Greenbox Darlington comprises three prime industrial units ranging from 84,950 sq. ft. to 215,360 sq. ft., all constructed with Net Zero Carbon credentials as a core principle and an ongoing commitment to responsible ESG policies to create a lasting positive impact.
Wolseley will occupy Unit 2 of the Greenbox development, a 107,775 sq. ft. Grade A unit designed to BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and EPC ‘A’ standards, boasting impressive sustainability credentials for Wolseley and other future tenants. The new Darlington distribution centre will bolster Wolseley’s nationwide operations, helping to enhance supply chain resilience while operating from a cutting edge, low carbon facility.
