Goodluck Hope hosts a day of festive fun for the local community

Goodluck Hope, Ballymore’s industrial-inspired residential development in East London, recently hosted a day of festive celebrations, featuring film screenings, biscuit-decorating workshops, carol singing, mulled wine and minced pies, to engage the local community and celebrate Christmas.

The event began with two screenings of the family favourite winter film Frozen, hosted in the development’s luxury on-site cinema. Alongside the screenings, Layers bakery, the destination bakehouse set to open at Goodluck Hope this winter, hosted festive masterclasses decorating and building gingerbread houses. Ticket proceeds were donated to local homelessness charity Your Place.

The workshops were followed by carol singing, with live performances by London Docklands Singers on Orchard Dry Dock, the waterfront public space at the heart of the development. Complimentary refreshments were served by newly-opened local grocers Taylor’s of Goodluck Hope, and in the evening, the merriment continued in the Goodluck Hope Sales Gallery with indoor carols and refreshments.

The Communication Group plc co-ordinated the event from conception to execution, with this activation celebrating the existing community of families and young professionals at Goodluck Hope, and further establishing its destination status to both first-time visitors and prospective buyers.
