Global Rights Compliance Announces Landmark Investigative Report into Starvation as a Method of Warfare in South Sudan

On behalf of international human rights law firm and foundation, Global Rights Compliance, The Communication Group plc has announced a landmark investigative report into one of the world’s most unknown state-led mass crimes currently being conducted in South Sudan. Following a year-long investigation, the first of its kind report reveals the use of starvation as a deliberate ‘method of warfare’ by the South Sudan Government, fuelling Africa’s largest refugee crisis.

The investigation, which spotlights deliberate starvation tactics, targeted attacks on humanitarian aid workers and the mass forcible displacement of civilians, also resulted in Global Rights Compliance issuing an urgent ‘Call to Action’ urging the international community to help millions of innocent civilians dying, displaced and suffering in South Sudan.

As a result of the announcement, The Communication Group plc has secured multiple pieces of coverage across several high-profile publications such as Forbes, The Guardian and BBC World Service.
