The Communication Group plc recently supported LG SIGNATURE in hosting a virtual, invitation-only event for high-profile members of the UK media to celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, as part of the luxury brand’s ‘LG SIGNATURE Hosts’ experiences.
Partnering with acclaimed British chef Chris Denney for the evening, guests were guided through how to prepare dishes inspired by traditional British delicacies and food favourites of the Royal Family. Dishes included Mutton salami, Isle of White tomato panzanella, Royal Warranted Kings’ Caviar and a traditional cherry tea cake with whipped vanilla cream that Denney’s grandmother used to make for the Spencer family at Althorp. Ahead of the session, guests were gifted a luxurious picnic hamper, which also included a bottle of Chapel Down English sparkling wine and an LG SIGNATURE branded champagne stopper.
LG SIGNATURE hosted 21 guests, with media including the likes of The Daily Telegraph, GQ, Wired, Daily Mail, Evening Standard and The Spectator in attendance. The evening was a resounding success, with attendees not only experiencing first hand the unique features of the LG SIGNATURE Wine Cellar and Refrigerator in a working chef’s kitchen, but also enjoying a fantastic picnic the following day.
