abrdn’s AIPUT (Airport Industrial Property Unit Trust) has been shortlisted for two awards, in recognition of their standard-bearing work in the Aviation and Real Estate sectors over the past year.
Logistics UK’s ‘Air Business of the Year’ award recognises the leading businesses in driving forward the vital role that the UK aviation logistics industry plays in supporting UK plc, including investors, landlords and developers, airlines, airports, ground service providers and freight forwarders. AIPUT is one of just five businesses shortlisted for the award, demonstrating ‘industry leadership and excellence’ for the Aviation Sector.
AIPUT was also shortlisted for the Association of Real Estate Funds (AREF) awards, for the ‘Investors’ Award for Outstanding Achievement’. This year, the award singles out the leading funds in the Real Estate Sector who have in the past year demonstrated the greatest contributions to addressing physical and transactional climate risk through the decarbonisation of their operations, and those who have communicated their progress and achievements to investors effectively at both fund and asset level.
The Communication Group plc handled AIPUT’s entry to both awards from cradle to completion, identifying both awards as those highly respected in the aviation and real estate industries, respectively, recognising where AIPUT’s output in the past year has demonstrated fulfilment of the criteria of each award and drafting and finalising the entry accordingly. Following AIPUT’s being shortlisted, The Communication Group produced dedicated social media posts, to share each shortlisting with AIPUT’s followers and congratulate their fellow finalists.
