Our client, Canary Wharf has once again transformed part of its bustling Jubilee Place Mall into the home of Santa’s Grotto which, this year, is decked out in candy canes, cupcakes, gingerbread men and towering piles of presents. The extravagant abode is a creation from The Whimsical Cake Company and is an undeniably striking spectacle though, regrettably, it is not edible.
Santa will be in residence until Christmas Eve and children are welcome to visit his saccharine home and whisper their wishes in his ear in the hope of taking away an early Christmas present, not to mention joyful memories of this enchanting experience.
The Grotto is just one part of an abundance of festive activity taking place at Canary Wharf this winter. Amidst the likes of carol services, rock concerts and ice skating action it will surely come as something of a relief for Father Christmas to retire to his quirky house and bring to life the wishes of the few lucky children who meet him.
The Grotto has received coverage in Time Out magazine, London Evening Standard and on a broad range of online kids days out listings like View London, London Mums Magazine and List.
