Ahead of this year’s British Grand Prix, Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts hosted a VIP mixer event at The Carlton Tower Jumeirah, as part of their wider partnership with Williams Racing for the 2023 Formula 1 season.
Prior to the event, The Communication Group plc secured two top tier UK journalists from Elite Traveler and Robb Report UK, who had the opportunity to interview Williams driver Alex Albon in an intimate setting in one of The Carlton Tower Jumeirah’s luxury suites, where Alex was staying ahead of the British Grand Prix. Following the interviews, Alex joined Jumeirah’s CEO, Katerina Giannouka, along with VIP guests of Jumeirah and key industry partners, at an intimate event in the hotel’s Garden Rooms for an exclusive Q&A with Jumeirah’s VP of Brand Marketing Alex Robertson. Throughout the mixer event, guests enjoyed drinks and treats from The Carlton Tower Jumeirah’s ‘A Tribute to Nature’ afternoon tea, which was served buffet-style for guests to consume at their leisure.
The weekend of the British Grand Prix saw Elite Traveler and Robb Report UK travel to Silverstone to enjoy Jumeirah’s signature hospitality and get a behind-the-scenes look at the workings of a Formula 1 team with exclusive garage access during the race. Overall, the experience was a great success, offering media a behind-the-scenes insight into Jumeirah’s partnership with Williams Racing and showcasing both companies’ passion for delivering exceptional experiences and outstanding hospitality.
