Recently, Somabay, the exciting Red Sea destination, hosted an exclusive UK media dinner in The Eden Room at The Greenhouses, bringing together a select number of key UK journalists to drive awareness of Somabay’s latest developments and upcoming news.
On arrival, guests were welcomed outside The Eden Room with a signature cocktail or mocktail, offering an opportunity for The Communication Group and Somabay representatives to mingle organically with guests to discuss the destination. Once seated inside The Eden Room, Somabay’s Chief Executive Officer Ibrahim El Missiri gave a short presentation to introduce the destination’s key USPs to those who had not already visited first-hand, as well as providing updates on the latest developments, providing a great opportunity to highlight potential angles of interests for attendees.
A three-course sharing-style menu followed, with The Communication Group and Somabay representatives distributed equally amongst media attendees, allowing for informal conversation about Somabay to flow throughout the evening. Senior representatives from Somabay travelled to London for the event, providing a fantastic opportunity for media attendees to learn more about the brand from key figureheads.
The dinner was a great success, with attending media including the likes of The Sunday Times, Citizen Femme, and Weddings & Honeymoons Magazine. The Communication Group plc supported on all aspects of the event, from conception through to hosting on the evening.
