On 21st and 22nd September, The Communication Group plc helped organise Unity Arts Festival, a two day curated programme of dance, music, film and art. The schedule included screenings from London Film Festival, workshops from English National Ballet and life drawing classes. Forming part of Open House London the festival marked the first time London City Island, Goodluck Hope and Trinity Buoy Wharf united for a community event.
Unity Arts Festival invited guests of all ages to participate in the selection of exhibitions, installations and workshops, as well as meet the artists, designers, makers and performers who are transforming the island and showcasing Leamouth Peninsula as a leading cultural neighbourhood in east London. Coverage was secured in a range of regional, local and art titles including, Evening Standard Online (MUU: 17,475, 971), Evening Standard’s GO London weekend guide (MUU: 17,475, 971), Londonist (MUU: 938,700) The Wharf (Circulation: 30,000) and broadcast coverage with BBC London News and BBC Radio London.
