As part of ongoing promotional efforts around the wellness and lifestyle offering at leading Red Sea destination Somabay, The Communication Group plc hosted journalists on a press trip to the resort to experience the inaugural edition of the Solasi Wellbeing Festival, a three-day holistic yoga and healing festival set to be an annual fixture in Somabay’s events calendar moving forward.
During the trip, attending media enjoyed one-to-one holistic sessions, with treatments on offer including energy healing, tarot card reading, and massages, as well as experiencing the signature Aqua Tonic treatment at The Cascades Spa & Thalasso – one of the largest Thalasso-therapy spas in the world – and taking part in a range of other wellness-focused activities throughout the festival. Guests also had the opportunity to get a taste of the wider destination, trying their hand at horse riding along the beach and embarking on a boat trip into the Red Sea’s waters, as well as experiencing some of the varied dining options available at Somabay.
The trip was hugely successful, and built on efforts to establish Somabay as a leading lifestyle and wellness destination, with attending media from top luxury lifestyle publications, including Luxuriate Life, Kensington & Chelsea Review, and House of Coco. The Communication Group plc supported Somabay with all aspects of the trip, from planning through to accompanying media attendees on the ground.
