Embassy Gardens, the vibrant new neighbourhood from EcoWorld Ballymore in the heart of London’s Nine Elms, recently hosted a Christmas Carols event at award-winning local music charity World Heart Beat.
Taking place inside the beautiful, world-class concert hall at World Heart Beat Embassy Gardens, the event featured music and carol singing from World Heart Beat’s line-up of exciting talent. Guests were greeted on arrival with hot drinks and mince pies, to a soundtrack of New Orleans inspired jazz, followed by a welcome speech from Sahana Gero, Founder and Artistic Director at World Heart Beat. Attendees were then treated to performances of classic Christmas tunes, such as Jingle Bell Rock, White Christmas, Sleigh Ride, and Fairytale of New York, before joining in for group carol singing.
The event was fully booked and attended by over 100 people, with all proceeds raised from ticket sales, and a matching donation from EcoWorld Ballymore, donated to Bags of Taste, a local charity working to ameliorate the effects of food poverty.
The Communication Group plc co-ordinated the event from conception to execution in collaboration with World Heart Beat, with the celebration showcasing the important work of the charity in fostering local musical talent, and further establishing the thriving community at Embassy Gardens.
