Ballymore & Oxley complete 1000th home at Royal Wharf

The Communication Group plc is excited to announce that Royal Wharf, the unique riverside neighbourhood in London’s Royal Docks by Ballymore & Oxley, has just completed its 1000th home, having welcomed its first residents earlier last year.  All 3,385 new homes on the development are now under construction or complete, making the pace and scale of development of this scheme unprecedented for London.

The Communication Group plc helped to launch Royal Wharf in 2014 and have since worked to raise the profile of the development among potential purchasers, residents and key stakeholders. This has included collaborations with New London Architecture, to host one of their regular NLA Nights events at Royal Wharf, and securing coverage across a range of top-tier titles, with highlight coverage in the last year including The Times (Bricks & Motar), The Daily Telegraph, London Evening Standard and Metro. In addition we have led a successful awards programme for the development, with wins including Development of the Year in the RESI awards and Residential Development of the Year in the Wharf Property Awards.

Royal Wharf will create an entirely new community covering over 40 acres of prime riverside location. The developers have taken inspiration from the surrounding docklands, making use of industrial materials to ensure an architectural design that is of the highest quality. The development comprises of a diverse range of properties alongside large gardens and traditional market square, Sovereign Place. Royal Wharf will bring over 60 independent cafes, shops, and restaurants, with a 3,900 sq ft Sainsbury’s and Starbucks store recently opened at the heart of this retail offering. It was also recently announced that Fullers, the London brewer and Pub Company, is scheduled to open for business later in the year and will occupy 7,000 sq. ft riverfront space.
