Leading botanical development Wardian in Canary Wharf celebrates opening of the 53rd floor Observatory

In celebration of Wardian – a residential-led development that champions botanically inspired living – launching its spectacular 53rd floor Observatory, The Communication Group plc secured a number of exclusive events for Londoners to experience the exceptional residential tower with 360-degree views of the capital.

On 10 June, Wardian partnered with Brummell magazine to host their first post pandemic Women Of Brummell event, bringing together the most influential women in the City and Canary Wharf. A panel talk hosted by Anne Ashworth (ex Times journalist and current property freelancer for Daily Mail) discussed the benefits of biophilia design and city living. The panel included; Glenn Howells the architect behind the design of Wardian, Darren Henderson behind Botanical Boys, who will soon open a store in Wardian, and Matt Morley founder of biofit and expert on sustainability and wellness.

On 11 – 12 June, Wardian partnered with Michelin starred chef Alyn Williams, to create a ‘dine in the sky’ pop-up restaurant open to Londoners for lunch and dinner, which sold out. The menu paid homage to East London local Alyn’s culinary journey starting at his childhood, and from his own travel food experiences in Cornwall. Dishes included truffle arancini, crab tartlet, Kombu cured Cornish mackerel and beef sirloin.

To close the festivities on 13 June, Wardian partnered with Gastronomous and AMEX who invited their card holders to enjoy a six-course two Michelin-starred menu hosted by Kitchen Table’s Chef James Knappett, each course paired with Gusbourne Wines.
