The Communication Group plc is pleased to announce its recent appointment by City Walk Abuja, a landmark mixed-use smart city development in Abuja, Nigeria, to handle a comprehensive public relations programme around the project’s launch.
Located on the main gateway into Nigeria’s capital, in a government-designated Free Trade Zone, City Walk Abuja’s over 200-hectare masterplan, created by Benoy, will integrate commercial, residential, hospitality, leisure, cultural and civic districts within a sustainable, technology-enabled environment. The development is a project by Link Developments, with Broadgate Development Group Ltd acting as Project Development Manager, and will feature Africa’s tallest tower, a major international arena, world-class public spaces, and smart infrastructure designed to establish a new benchmark for urban development across the continent.
The Communication Group plc is supporting City Walk Abuja with a comprehensive programme incorporating media relations, advertising, events, and awards. The Communication Group plc also supported City Walk Abuja with a large-scale presidential launch event in Abuja earlier this summer where the project’s vision was announced, with media in attendance including BBC News Nigeria.
