The Communication Group plc recently supported Vialattea in the promotion of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup, with three races taking place in Sestriere, showcasing the destination as a world-class skiing venue and host of world-class competitions.
The Audi FIS Ski World Cup took place in Sestriere from 21 to 23 February, with over 30,000 spectators in attendance for an action-packed weekend of thrilling competition. Italian Alpine skier Federica Brignone triumphed in both Giant Slalom races, while American champion Mikaela Shiffrin made history during the weekend when she secured her 100th World Cup victory in the Slalom.
The Communication Group plc was instrumental in enhancing the event’s visibility, with a total of 166 media placements being published around the event across the likes of The Independent, The Guardian, Olympics, and The New York Times, solidifying Sestriere’s status as a premier destination for skiing events.
