Jumeirah Showcases At ILTM Cannes 2024

Recently, Jumeirah exhibited at ILTM Cannes, one of the luxury travel industry’s most iconic events, where the brand unveiled its latest news, with a focus on the announcement of its new partnership with Thanda Group to operate Jumeirah Thanda Safari and Jumeirah Thanda Island.

Over four days, senior Jumeirah figureheads including Chief Executive Officer Thomas Meier, Chief Commercial Officer Alex Lee, and Chief Brand Officer Michael Grieve, met with top target journalists from key markets worldwide in a series of media roundtables, 1-2-1 meetings, and networking events. Media meetings were hosted both on the Thanda Yacht ‘Over the Rainbow London’ and on-stand, providing an opportunity to share the latest news from across Jumeirah, including the announcement of Jumeirah’s move into Africa through its collaboration with Thanda Group, the upcoming opening of Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab in Dubai, and the future vision of the brand. Chief Brand Officer Michael Grieve also participated in the ILTM media roundtable on the second day of the event, providing additional opportunities to share the brand’s news with media in a series of quick-fire 9-minute meetings.

During the event, Jumeirah also held two cocktail evenings at the Jumeirah Penthouse, hosting key trade partners and top-tier international media in a more informal setting, facilitating organic conversations with senior figures from Jumeirah. These evenings also offered an opportunity for guests to experience the brand’s signature hospitality, with a chef from Jumeirah’s signature F&B concept Kayto in Dubai having flown in for the occasion.

The Communication Group plc supported Jumeirah with all aspects of ILTM Cannes, from media outreach to supporting with hosting the various events and meetings.
