Experts at international human rights foundation, Global Rights Compliance has emphasised the urgent need for the international community to continue supporting Kyiv, with today marking the three-year anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
President of Global Rights Compliance, Wayne Jordash and Legal Advisor, Jeremy Pizzi stressed that the war is not just about securing Ukraine’s independence, but also the battle to sustain accountability for Russia’s illegal actions and secure financial reparations for the harm caused to Ukraine.
Both lawyers emphasised that a proper, independent judicial process is fundamental to prosecute Russia for its war crimes, highlighting that if Russia fails to be investigated or prosecuted, a potential peace deal will be in name only.
The Communication Group plc is supporting GRC with a tailored media campaign focusing on the three-year anniversary. Online coverage has been secured in major UK national and US publications, such as Newsweek, Metro and The Times.
