Recently, The Communication Group plc supported Geneva Tourism with hosting a luxury-focused group press trip, to mark the impressive news that Geneva now holds the fourth highest number of Michelin stars per capita globally.
Guests stayed at the five-star lakeside retreat La Réserve Geneva, where they also enjoyed their first Michelin-starred meal at the hotel’s Tsé Fung – the only Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant in Switzerland. Throughout the trip, exceptional meals were also enjoyed at Michelin-starred restaurants across the city and in the surrounding countryside, including Arakel, L’Aparté, and Domaine de Châteauvieux, showcasing the breadth of Geneva’s fine dining offering.
As well as indulging in some of Geneva’s very best restaurants, attendees participated in an introductory watchmaking session at Initium Swiss, enjoyed a chocolate-making workshop at La Bonbonnière, and relaxed with spa treatments at La Réserve’s renowned Nescens Spa. Guests enjoyed Geneva through a range of different transport modes, embarking on a guided walking tour of the Old Town, as well as enjoying a tuktuk ride through the countryside with Welo Swiss, and having the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Lac Léman aboard La Réserve’s private motoscafo, which transferred the group into the city from the hotel.

Attending media included journalists from Harper’s Bazaar, Mayfair Times, and House of Coco, all key target titles for Geneva Tourism.
