Recently, The Communication Group plc supported Bombardier with hosting an exclusive media event on board the new Bombardier Global 8000 at Farnborough Airport, to celebrate the jet’s entry into service.
The Global 8000 is the fastest civilian jet since Concorde, having broken the sound barrier in testing and reaching speeds of up to Mach 0.95 in-flight. Tying into this key messaging around speed, media were collected from their homes in supercars, before arriving at Farnborough Airport for a wellness-focused breakfast curated by Michelin-starred chef Tom Aikens and wellness expert Rosemary Ferguson on board the Global 8000.
Wellness is another key focus for the Global 8000, with features such as circadian rhythm lighting, industry-leading low cabin pressure levels, and Nuage seats ensuring that passengers experience total comfort during flight. Tom and Rosemary’s breakfast menu tapped into this messaging by using low-inflammatory ingredients to show guests how eating well can reduce the effects of flight on the body. Rosemary also spoke to guests about the jet’s wellness features, giving them expert tips on how to feel their best during flight.
Media were gifted Bombardier-branded items on departure, taken from the brand’s collaboration with WANT Les Essentiels, highlighting Bombardier’s recent rebrand and strengthening its positioning as a leading luxury lifestyle brand.
Media in attendance on the day included The Times, Wallpaper*, Robb Report, Spear’s, BOAT International, and Sphere. The Communication Group plc supported with all elements of the event, from conception and event logistics through to hosting on the day.
