The Communication Group plc recently hosted a successful group FAM trip to Somabay on Egypt’s Red Sea to showcase the destination’s new golfing facilities.
During the trip, guests were among the first to experience the new Short Game Arena and Par 3 Course designed by James Edwards and Tim Lobb, as well as enjoying the destination’s 18-hole Gary Player Championship Course and its double-ended driving range. Away from the golf course, the trip also showcased Somabay’s wider lifestyle offering, with highlights including a beach club experience at Wyte Beach Club, Aqua Tonic treatments at The Cascades Spa & Thalasso, a unique boat golfing trip on the Red Sea, and dinner at Kokomo.
The trip was a great success, with attendees from Golfbreaks and Golf Travel Centre – two of the UK’s leading golf tour operators – who came together with golf journalists, content creators, and coaching professionals to showcase the facilities through a variety of different mediums. The Communication Group plc supported Somabay with the coordination of all stages of the FAM trip, from outreaching to target attendees to managing logistics and accompanying guests during their stay.
