The Communication Group plc recently hosted a four day group press trip to Geneva, in collaboration with Geneva Tourism, to showcase the city’s vibrant cultural and gastronomical offering.
Guests were introduced to a wide range of the city’s diverse cultural institutions, including Du Rhône Chocolatier, one of the city’s oldest chocolate factories; FIFDH, the world’s largest international human rights film festival; MAMCO, Geneva’s modern and contemporary art gallery; MEG, the city’s ethnography museum; and La Comedie de Geneve, a diverse theatrical establishment. Attendees also enjoyed a wine tasting experience aboard a boat on Lake Geneva, as well as a tuktuk tour of one of the region’s many vineyards. The trip culminated in a networking event with a number of the city’s other cultural partners, allowing guests to get a feel for the full variety of Geneva’s cultural offering.
The trip was a huge success, with attending media from The Daily Mirror, The Scottish Sun and The Arbuturian, and the overarching aim of continuing to cement Geneva’s position as a leading cultural destination through the promotion of its extensive cultural and gastronomical activities.
