Embassy Gardens Hosts Bloomsday Festival To Celebrate Irish Culture And Heritage

Recently, Embassy Gardens, the vibrant new central London neighbourhood and lifestyle district, hosted the Bloomsday Festival: an all-day celebration of Irish culture, literature, music, food and drink, in honour of Irish writer James Joyce.

The event was co-hosted by Darby’s, the popular restaurant, oyster bar, and bakery from Irish chef-owner Robin Gill, which is based at Embassy Gardens. Bringing together an exciting line-up of talent, the event offered a varied programme of entertainment, including live music sets, food and drink pop ups from top Irish brands and producers, ‘Try An Instrument’ music workshops, and Irish short film screenings. A headline performance from Irish singer-songwriter Imelda May attracted large crowds, with over 2000 people in attendance across the day.

The Communication Group plc supported all aspects of the event, from initial concept through to delivery, as well as generating significant media coverage including Time Out, Evening Standard, Conde Nast Traveller, Londonist, and Secret London, helping drive attendance and further establish Embassy Gardens as a hub for culture and entertainment.
