The Communication Group plc recently supported Jumeirah Carlton Tower with the hosting of an exclusive media and influencer event to celebrate the launch of the hotel’s new afternoon tea concept inspired by Highgrove House & Gardens.
The launch was attended by a mixture of luxury lifestyle influencers and media, who were welcomed into the Afternoon Tea Room with specially crafted cocktails and canapés, before being greeted with a short welcome speech by Executive Pastry Chef Martin Haidar. Once seated, guests enjoyed a preview of the new afternoon tea, which incorporates the very best of seasonal British produce and features a selection of classically British sweet and savoury dishes, including His Majesty King Charles III’s own favourite fruit cake. Guests were also gifted a small bouquet from renowned royal florist Moyses Stevens, which had been carefully designed to fit the seasonal theme of the afternoon tea.
The launch event was a great success, with 11 guests in attendance on the day, and generated coverage for the new offering across a number of key lifestyle titles and social media channels. The Communication Group plc supported on all aspects of the event, from planning through to hosting on the day.
