Geneva Tourism Runs Second Successful Transport Advertising Campaign

Following the success of their first transport advertising campaign in 2023, Geneva Tourism ran a second successful transport advertising campaign in London earlier this year, facilitated by The Communication Group plc, with the aim of promoting the city’s summer campaign, and continuing to build on its positioning as Switzerland’s ‘Resort City’.

Running across a period of two weeks in June 2024, the campaign was displayed in a number of key commuter London Underground stations in Zones 1 and 2, with a mixture of on-platform and in-station advertising being used to capture the attention of a broad audience comprising of both tourists and London residents as they made their way throughout the city.

The advertising visuals promoted Geneva Tourism’s latest summer campaign with the slogan of ‘Unexpected Geneva’, encouraging viewers to visit the city and uncover a new side to Geneva with the use of taglines such as ‘Come for the museums, stay for the outdoors’ and ‘Come for the sights, stay for the nights’.

The campaign was a great success, serving to highlight Geneva’s diverse lifestyle offering, with some advertising sites remaining on display beyond the agreed two-week period, as had been the case with Geneva Tourism’s 2023 campaign. The Communication Group plc supported on all aspects of the campaign, from negotiations through to execution.
