With an exclusive feature in The Times, we have launched PegasusLife, specialist developers of homes for the discerning older generation.
Headed up by CEO Howard Phillips, previously CEO of McCarthy and Stone, and with Roger Black as Creative Director, PegasusLife has a vision to become the leading developer for this rapidly growing sector in the UK. With plans to invest over £500m in the next few years and funding from Oaktree Capital Management, the firm has an ambitious growth plan.
PegasusLife will deliver aspirational homes for the mature generation, with beautiful residences characterised by insightful design and transparent service. They will also deliver ‘estate-management’ services for residents, including social and leisure facilities, together with a level of service tailored to each individual’s needs; all delivered on a non-for-profit basis.
There have already been ten sites acquired across the UK, with the first two in Bude, Cornwall (now available for presale) and Woodbridge, Suffolk currently under construction. A further 20 sites are planned over the next 12 months, with each delivering between 10 and 150 properties. All developments will be positioned in beautiful locations – from chic city venues (including London) to scenic seaside settings and charming market towns.
