Kebony, the sustainable alternative to tropical hardwood, was selected by Blue Forest Luxury Treehouses for a highly ambitious treehouse, recently unveiled at London’s Ideal Home Show. The remarkable structure is also due to appear at the Royal Horticultural Show in the summer before being installed permanently at a children’s hospice in Sussex.
Blue Forest is the world’s leading luxury treehouse and eco-home builders. Kebony’s involvement in the project played an important role in shaping the narrative of the project as Blue Forest create treehouses which reflect the environments in which they are built. Kebony’s strong eco-credentials and aesthetic appeal was an important consideration in the selection of Kebony by the architects.
The treehouse was on display at the Ideal Home Show for the entire duration of the show, where a number of press interviews were organised resulting in coverage in: London Evening Standard, ITV, Metro, World Architectural News, Tomorrow’s Flooring, Good Housekeeping and DecoMag, amongst many others.
