Garden Africa

A UK-based charity, has launched it's campaign to build 1001 training gardens across sub-Saharan Africa with the help of The Communication Group, by their creation of an inspiring show garden at Chelsea Flower Show.

The designers were awarded the prestigious Silver Gilt medal by the RHS and were shortlisted by the public for the People’s Choice Award.

The Communication Group was brought in to maximise brand awareness and strategy in light of this campaign. GardenAfrica's blueprint of a township garden, featuring foods and medicinal herbs, drew huge interest from media and celebrities alike, with visitors to the garden including Paul Smith, Simon & Yasmin le Bon, Julia Sawalha and Monty Don.

GardenAfrica achieved impressive exposure to the British public through both press and broadcast media including the Evening Standard, Daily Mail, Time Out, SKY News and BBC Breakfast News.
